One of the reasons, it was argued, was that the cost of a wedding can be between £5,000 and £50,000.
I know that weddings can be a lot cheaper than that.
When I said that I could organise a great wedding day for £100 I received two reactions.
Most people said it was not possible, but others began to tell me stories about how they had been married on a very low budget. |
