Photos are vital to a wedding. They are a reminder of the whole day and they are a record of all those people you knew then, but have lost touch with now.

 

A great photographer can make the memories live. A bad one can ruin your day and annoy all your guests. They are in high demand and so can cost over £1000.

 

Low Cost

You can use the free idea then pick a dozen to have printed and put them in an album and you’ve paid about £10.

I have known lots of people who have a keen amateur photographer, in their family or circle of friends, whom they can call on. They will take the pictures and use them to establish a  portfolio they can use to get into being a professional photographer.

I know a couple whose photographer was taken ill just before the day. There was no way of getting someone else.

They contacted their guests and asked them all to bring their cameras. The ushers organised the groups for the pictures the couple wanted.

Everyone snapped away, including some passing strangers who took shots with some 20 cameras for the ‘everyone at the wedding’ shots.

The couple gave a web address and password for everyone to upload their shots.
